What’s Current: Notorious pornographer Max Hardcore dies at 66

  • Notorious pornographer Paul Little, better known as Max Hardcore, dies at 66 years old from septic shock and pneumonia. Little was known for producing and performing in extreme, violent, misogynist, sadistic, and degrading scenes.
  • On Thursday, ahead of International Transgender Day of Visibility, Lizzo’s shapewear brand, Yitty, announced that it will offer “gender-affirming shapewear.” Titled “Your Skin,” the collection features a breast binder and “tucking” thong.
  • A male powerlifting coach self-identified into the women’s category to break the Alberta women’s bench press record in protest of gender self-identification policies in sport. Avi Silverberg, a powerlifting coach who has worked with Team Canada, unofficially broke the Alberta women’s bench press record for the 84+ kilograms category at the Heroes Classic Powerlifting Meet held in Lethbridge, Alberta.
  • The trans activist who who dumped tomato juice on Posie Parker at her Auckland “Let Women Speak” rally has been charged with assault. Eli Rubashkyn has reportedly fled to New York, and told the New Zealand Herald she would probably not return to New Zealand for some time.
