After three female students at Simon Fraser University reported the same man for sexual assault, the alleged assailant was simply moved to another residence. No warnings were given to female students at this residence about the man.

SFU has no clear guidelines for dealing with sexual violence, but is formulating one in accordance with a recent private member’s bill passed by the B.C. government, giving Canadian universities and colleges one year to establish and implement “sexual misconduct policies.”
