What’s Current: Female RCMP officer stabbed to death by homeless man camping in Burnaby park

  • Female RCMP officer, Constable Shaelyn Yang, 31, was stabbed to death on Tuesday morning while checking on a 37-year-old man who had been living in a tent for months at Broadview Park in Burnaby, BC. Jongwon Ham was shot during the “altercation,” but survived. He was wanted on two previous assault charges at the time of his arrest. Yang was assisting a city worker tasked with informing the tent’s occupant that he was not allowed to live at the spot where he was camping.
  • A trans-identified male soccer player reports that he was followed into a McDonald’s washroom by security, who demanded to see his ID.
  • Alexandra Hunt, a “former stripper” who ran for Congress as a Democrat, argues it’s time to make sex a “right” for men. Hunt reportedly used OnlyFans to fund her campaign and complained to the press after a Mexican outlet published photos from her account.
  • A group called “Reality Matters” has released a trailer for a documentary called, “Adult Human Female.” The film premieres on November 12 in London.
