- Idaho has passed a law banning abortion after six weeks. The new law will also allow for the father and other family members of the fetus to sue medical professionals who perform the procedure.
- New research reveals that the number of women and young adults in the U.K. using anti-anxiety medication has skyrocketed. The study found that women were more than twice as likely as men to be prescribed anti-depressants to relieve anxiety symptoms.
- Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into companies that manufacture “puberty blockers” for children. In a press release announcing the investigation Paxton stated:
“I will not allow Big Pharma to misleadingly promote these drugs that may pose a high risk of serious physical and psychological damage to Texas children who cannot yet fathom or consent to the potential long-term effects of such use.”
