- More than 15,000 allegations of sexual assault or harassment in elite UK academic institutions have been compiled on the website Everyone’s Invited, created by Soma Sara. Among the institutions named are the nation’s top universities, including Oxford, Exeter, and King’s College London.
- A woman in Tennessee says charges were dropped against the man who raped her while he was intoxicated because he claimed he thought she was “someone else.” The District Attorney’s Office chose not to prosecute the defendant saying that it could not be proved that he “knowingly assaulted her.”
