Helen Joyce has been a staff journalist at The Economist since 2005 and is currently executive editor for The Economist’s events business. Previously, Helen edited the paper’s economics and finance section, and before that, the International section. Helen has a PhD in mathematics from University College London. She is currently writing a book about gender identity.
